Biljana Tanurovska-Kjulavkovski 
programme director
Biljana Tanurovska-Kjulavkovski is a cultural worker, curator, writer, and researcher at the intersection of dance, theatre, and visual arts performance. She has extensive experience in collaborating, as collaboration is at the core of her practice since she believes that meaningful art productions are possible through relations with others. In 2003, she co-founded Lokomotiva, being her collaborative base for activating art projects, while also working as a freelancer. Additionally, she is a co-founder of the Nomad Dance Academy platform (NDA), Kino Kultura (KK) project space, and Locomotion festival (2008-2016) etc. Presently, she works on the Archive of Dance and Performance in North Macedonia as well as exhibition of the archive materials as part of the NAM project (Non)Aligned Movements, ReImagine project dedicated to green transition in performing arts and other initiatives related to feminist and environmental practices and performance, as well as working conditions and processes. Emilija Chochkova 
programme and financial manager
Emilija Chochkova holds a degree in theatre, film, and TV production and has over 15 years of work experience in the field. She worked as a program producer on the national TV channel Telma (2005-2015). In 2015, she founded ART PROEKT LAB, the production house behind two seasons of the TV series The Family Markovski. Since 2022, she has worked as a producer at The Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Skopje and as a program coordinator and financial manager at Lokomotiva – Centre for New Initiatives in Arts and Culture. She is an EAVE (European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs) graduate and a Berlinale Talent alumni (Berlin Film Festival).
Gjurgjica Hristovska

Gjurgјica Hristovska is a graduate Engineer аgronomist, department of fruit growing with viticulture at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Food at the University “St. Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje. He has many years of work experience as a technical secretary from 2009 to 2017 at TEAM POINT LLC in Skopje. In 2018, she started working at the NGO Lokomotiva – Center for New Initiatives in Art and Culture, Skopje and the Association for Theater and Educational Activity Theater of Navigator Cvetko, as an administrator. She worked also at Kino Kultura project space for conemporary performing arts as office manager and administrator. She is working at varioius project of Lokomotiva as administrator.
Viktorija Ilioska
collaborator, choreographer and program coordinator
Viktorija Ilioska is a Macedonian choreographer and performer based between North Macedonia and Germany. For over a decade now, she has been actively working on programs for the support and development of contemporary dance, both collaborating with institutions and strengthening the independent scene. Since 2010, she has been a member of Nomad Dance Academy and Lokomotiva – Centre for New Initiative in Arts and Culture, through which she works on bringing connections and collaborations within the local and national contexts of the Balkan region. Viktorija holds a master’s degree in Choreography and Performance from the Institute of Applied Theatre Studies at Justus Liebig University, Gießen, Germany. Her recent works include the long-term performative research project and collaboration “It could be something very minimal” started in 2018 between her, Patrick Faurot, and Max Smirzitz. Ivana Dragsic

Ivana Dragsic is a sociologist and civil operator interested in countercultural practices, institutional innovation and leisure. She is an active researcher, author and editor on the topics of commons and ecofeminism, with strong affinity towards their intertwining concepts: public space, urban greenery, citizens’ participation, resource management, UBI, care and conviviality. Dragsic is an amateur artist and performer, and plays music on the radio and in clubs.
Zorica Zafirovska
projects / program collaborator
She is an artist, cultural worker, activist, and project coordinator of Lokomotiva. She holds a bachelor’s degree from The Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje. Since 2011 she is a Ph.D. Candidate in cultural studies at the Institute for Social Sciences and Humanities “Euro-Balkan”. In 2022 she is a Ph.D. Candidate at the Faculty of Fine Arts, in Skopje. Her work as a visual and conceptual artist involves a wide spectrum of research concerned with contemporary socio-political topics, such as human trafficking and homelessness. In her home town Skopje and elsewhere, she does mostly site- and time-specific installations and small actions, that rely on critical and subversive approaches of executing and presenting her work. From 2008 member of F.R.I.K. (Cultural Development Association Formation) from Skopje. In 2011 she co-founded Momi initiation of 6 women artists from Skopje and in 2009 co-founded Art I. N.S.T.I.T.U.T. an artist group and artists-run space in Skopje. (click for more)
Ljubomir Faizov
collaborator and PR officer
Ljubomir is LGBTIQ+ equality activist, working more than ten years as a Program Coordinator at the LGBTI Support Centre – Skopje. He is part of the Skopje Pride Weekend festival team and part of the organizational board of Skopje Pride Parade. In the scope of his work, he has been coordinating projects focused on LGBTI advocacy, community organizing, queer culture and has been responsible for the social media accounts of the organization. His involvement as a PR and social media collaborator of Lokomotiva started from February 2024.
