4 September | Kino Kultura

20:00 | Drugovanje
author/production:
performers: Marko Gutić Mižimakov & MarQ2
Drugovanje is an excerpt from a series of works named A Performing Site For Affective Clones & Whatever They Want
http://performing.site

With just one side and one margin you resemble the Klein bottle or a Möbius strip. As if there is no inside or outside, your polygon-made body dances along the pixels of the LCD screen. The everlasting negotiation and transfer of information between the GPU and the CPU. The polygons of your polymesh made skin upon which a variety of textures and properties are stretched and skewed take the appearance of the organic only when shot with the ray from a point of view of a hypothetical camera, analyzed by the rendering engine which processes you into a photorealistic form. A form in which I recognize you.

Performance by Sonja Pregrad

| 3 September, Open Graphic Studio, 20:00 |
| Carnival tent rusts in the evening breeze – un/packing of objecthood |
Author/performer: Sonja Pregrad
Production: Četveroruka/Fourhanded
duration: 40 min.

The event-space functions simultaneously and in contradiction as a performance and as an exhibition. Within it 9 ‘objects’ are exhibited/performed – performance as an object consisting of time, objects borrowed from the audience, a re-enactment of a performance art work Meeting Point by Sanja Iveković, a wall-writing, a teenage diary from 1991, garments bought at the Kamensko factory in bankruptcy, sugar cubes, and the dance as an object. The performer/author/curator instigates a game where objects are relations, relations are movements and movements are objects.

Sonja Pregrad (Zagreb/Berlin) is a dance maker, performer and teacher with MA in Solo/Dance/Authorship obtained at Universitaet der Kunste Berlin and bachelor’s degree obtained at ArtEZ Arnhem. Her solo works and collaborations with Willy Prager, Silvia Marchig, Marjana Krajač and many others have been performed in festivals in Germany, Croatia and the rest of Europe. She performs for Meg Stuart, Boris Charmatz, Sanja Iveković, Isabelle Schad and others. Since 2007, she is one of cofounders and organizers of the festival IMPROSPEKCIJE. She is teaching within SMASH Berlin program and the Academy for Fine Arts, Department for Animated Film and New Media among others. She got Croatian Theatre Award for the best female performance and the best work in total in 2018 for In here and Out there and a special mention at the 26th Slavonian biennale for the Carnival tent.

Open Graphic Studio is partner in realisation of the performance.

The performance is realised in the frame of the RESIDENCY STAY of the Croatian artists Sonja Predrad (choreographer / performer) and Marko Gutić Mižimakov (visual artist / performer) in Kino Kultura Skopje, organized by Lokomotiva – Skopje.

The Residency is part of the “Contemporary Choreography and Dance” programme of Lokomotiva supported by Ministry of Culture, the City of Skopje and the Municipality of Centar.

| Carnival tent rusts in the evening breeze – un/packing of objecthood |
Продукција: Četveroruka/Fourhanded
Настанот и просторот на „Carnival tent rusts in the evening breeze – un/packing of objecthood” функционира истовремено и во спротивност како перформанс, и како изложба.

Таа предава на програмата SMASH Berlin program и the Academy for Fine Arts, Department for Animated Film and New Media. In here and Out there Carnival tent.
