During five days, from 9-14 of February, Maricruz Peñaloza, a curator from the PERFORMANCE REIHE NEU-OERLIKON 2023 in Zurich (https://performancereihe.com) visited Skopje and Lokomotiva, since she invited Biljana Tanurovska – Kjulavkovski to co-curate the 14th edition of the festival. They met artists from the country, as well as cultural workers that will be presented on the festival that will be held in Zurich in September, 2023.

The video We vote!, is a result of the cooperation of the organizations Lokomotiva – Center for New Initiatives in Art and Culture, and CIVIL – Center for Freedom. The cooperation of these two organizations, one in the field of art, the other working in the field of human rights and freedoms was realized as part of the Election Health Check project organized by the non-governmental organization Unhack Democracy from Hungary, with the support of the Fund for Culture of Solidarity of the European Cultural Foundation and Friedrich Neumann Foundation for Freedom.

“Lokomotiva – Center for new initiatives in the arts and culture” -Skopje has the honor to organize the program “European Diploma in Project Management in Culture 2018/2019”, which will be held in the period from May 11 to May 20 in Ohrid, Struga and Skopje.
The European Diploma Program aims to foster cultural diversity and inter-regional trade. By enhancing the skills of cultural managers in the field of cultural management, the program seeks to develop the facilities and tools needed for cultural cooperation in Europe, thus raising Europe’s culture to a higher level.

„Caravan Next“ is a project that connects the artists with their local community and the citizens through a network of Theatre organizations and cultural institutions around Europe.
Following the events organized in Subotica and Mostar, European Association for Local Democracy – ALDA, in cooperation with the Theatre of Navigator Cvetko and Lokomotiva Skopje, organizes a series of cultural activities in Skopje. Within this event, several lectures, workshops and performances will be realized. The activities that will be implemented are inspired by the Augusto Boal’s Theatre of the oppressed.
