Biljana Tanurovska Kjulavkovski from 6th till 9th of May, was part of the Naujasis Baltijos Šokis/New Baltic Dance Festival in Vilnius, Lithuania and meeting of GPS/ Global Practice Sharing Network.
This year the international dance festival “New Baltic Dance” for the 23^rd time gathered international contemporary experts and producers from all over the world in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Music culture is a program of Lokomotiva-Center for new initiatives in art and culture developed and curated by Violeta Kachakova to research and contextualize the music culture. The program reflects on, discusses and presents the work of authors in the field of contemporary electronic, jazz and rock music and creates an opportunity for artistic collaboration, production and education in the field of music. The program is realized in 2019 and 2020 through a series of continuous and conceptually related projects and activities of public character.

Програмата за развој на креативните индустрии „8.СКОПЈЕ КРЕАТИВА 2019” поддржува и промовира развој на нови и иновативни производи и услуги во сферата на креативните индустрии, како што се: дизајн (индустриски, графички, моден), применети уметности и занаетчиство, изведувачки уметности, нови медии, креативно-едукативни услуги, ИТ технологии и услуги, аудио-визуелни производи и услуги, производи и услуги од сфера на издаваштво и др. Производите и услугите кои се подржуваат во рамки на овој повик треба да имаат утилитарна намена.

PUBLICATION: “CULTURAL SPACES FOR ACTIVE CITIZENS” Developing models of specific public spaces for the community

The Publication is developed in the frame of the project “Cultural Spaces for Active Citizens” organized by “Lokomotiva” – Center for New Initiatives in Arts and Culture – Skopje in partnership with “Faculty of things that can’t be learned” (FRU) – Bitola/Skopje, and in collaboration with “Loud Textile Worker” – Shtip, “Freedom Square” – Skopje, and “Theater Navigator Cvetko” – Skopje.

By creating and implementing specific methodological approaches and activities, the project aimed to raise questions about and regarding the public space, the space in culture and art; or, more specifically, its function, practice, governance, i.e. its use by the professionals in the field of culture and the citizens. Therefore, within the timeframe of this project the partners dedicate their action towards the following four spaces: “Kino Kultura” – project space for contemporary performing arts and contemporary culture in Skopje, the cinema of the Railway Residential Building in Skopje, Officers’ House in Bitola, and Cultural and Artistic Center “Textile” in Shtip.
