Lokomotiva- Center for New Initiatives in Art and Culture from Thursday 12, till Saturday 14 of November will realize Music Culture program which deals with research, contextualization and presentation of music culture.

The program unites a series of three events dedicated to three contemporary Macedonian music authors of different generations, whose work moves between the world and the local homegrown culture in the field of electronic music. Each event will start with a short conversation introducing the author, his oeuvre and current work process, but also we can learn more about the opportunities for creation and performing of the independent musicians in our country, especially in the current pandemic conditions.

Music culture is a program of Lokomotiva-Center for new initiatives in art and culture developed and curated by Violeta Kachakova to research and contextualize the music culture. The program reflects on, discusses and presents the work of authors in the field of contemporary electronic, jazz and rock music and creates an opportunity for artistic collaboration, production and education in the field of music. The program is realized in 2019 and 2020 through a series of continuous and conceptually related projects and activities of public character.
