LOKOMOTIVA-Centre for New initiatives in Arts and Culture is an NGO created in 2003 and in the past six years of working, teams of Lokomotiva have developed and implemented over thirty projects (film, performances, educative/training programs, debates, discussions, exhibitions etc.), in which, the regional and international cooperation, have always been a priority.

Vision
is to be a platform, dynamic and open place for creation, information resource, platform for developing new ideas and discourses, innovative contemporary works, which will imply social and cultural changes on national, regional and international level.

Mission
Lokomotiva directs its practice towards creation of new dynamic civil environment, space for reflection, creation and discursive practice that advocates for the needs of the cultural actors and articulates them into relevant project activities.

General aim
Lokomotiva aims to develop new models of cultural production and policy through different activities in the fields of contemporary arts, focusing on performing arts (contemporary dance), video, experimental and documentary films.

Programme activites of Lokomotiva are structured under the interdisciplinary principle and are developed as education, creation and production, artistic exchange, diffusion, research and debates about cultural policies, opening of the space for debating and problem thinking, networking etc.
